The Carpathians is the mountain chain in the Central Europe which is partly situated on the territory of Ukraine. The most popular summer period for a rest is connected with such Ukrainian national holidays as Easter, Ivan Kupala Day and it is easy to explain – Western Ukraine still keeps Ukrainian culture and customs. The celebration is accompanied by music festivals where you can hear West Ukrainian folk music and even rock; the most popular rock festival is called «Slavske rock». The lovers of traditional rest can go sightseeing since every town of Carpathian region has a rich historical background. Among attractions are natural reserves Chernogorsky near the mountain Hoverla and the Valley of Narcissi; such architectural monuments as the Castle of Earl Shenbourne in village Chinadievo, other castles in town Khust, Mukachevo, Uzhgorod, etc.
